Aspen Glen Barn

A California/mountain style is adapted to suit south Florida in the manner of Bernard Maybeck for this equestrian compound.  The project includes a barn, groom’s quarters and equipment buildings in addition to a main residence for the client.  The buildings feature natural stone, stucco, and heavy timbers to give the compound a western ambiance without being out of place in Mediterranean dominated Florida. 

Approaches, views, and relationships between buildings were all carefully considered in the master planning of the 15 acre property.
